An Post is setting the stage for one of the biggest marketing events of the year, the 2012 An Post Integrated Direct Marketing Awards. Winning a 2012 An Post Integrated Direct Marketing Award means your work combined innovation, brilliance and out-of-the-park response figures. It doesn't matter whether your campaigns were online, offline or both. If they worked, they could win.

The search is on for those campaigns that really made a mark in 2011 as An Post prepares for this year’s Integrated Direct Marketing Awards which will be held in the Mansion House on Thursday, 3rd May 2012.

Did you make your mark, hit the top, hush the critics? Well if you did, and you're confident you'll impress our panel of judges (not an easy bunch this year) then ensure you submit your entry by 5pm, 5th April 2012.  

Six new categories have been added this year along with the bonus of a free campaign to the value of €5k for the winner of the 'Best Agency Self-Promotion Category'. The new categories are:

  • Best Pharmaceutical/Healthcare
  • Best Social Media
  • Best Mobile Marketing Campaign
  • Best email Marketing Campaign
  • Best Viral Campaign
  • Best Direct Mail and Digital

Research carried out on behalf of An Post shows that 91% of addressed mail is read and 41% of those who receive it will go online for more information.  54% of 18-24 year olds who receive or have a copy of a brochure to hand are likely to purchase more online.
